INTO THE GREAT WHITE SANDS | A KICKSTARTER FUNDING CAMPAIGN

This video was produced to accompany my successful Kickstarter funding campaign for my project “Into the Great White Sands”, a photography project exploring the magnificent gypsum sand dunes at White Sands National Monument in southern New Mexico. A fine art publication will be released in Spring 2018 by the University of New Mexico Press. I invite you to be a part of my effort - email me at info@craigvarjabedian.com or for more information go to http://www.thegreatwhitesands.com

GHOST RANCH AND THE FARAWAY NEARBY

This movie was created to celebrate the publication of my book "Ghost Ranch and the Faraway Nearby" published by the University of New Mexico Press (www.unmpress.com). I collaborated with composer, musician and my long-time friend Michael David Sherwood of Albuquerque, bringing together his inspired music and my photographs of the legendary Ghost Ranch located in northern New Mexico. Michael and I both live in New Mexico and we are deeply influenced by this enchanted land we live in.

A SENSE OF TIME: Images from From Four and Twenty Photographs

In a quest to make photographs of those amazing convergences of light and mood that often define the images I make, I have travelled the backroads of New Mexico for years, exploring its secret corners with my camera. There were many surprises encountered along the way and these have become the great stories I like to share about how my images were made. The music is by award winning composer and musician M. L. Bolton from the album “Minute Minutes" and is available as a CD and for digital download at Amazon.com and iTunes.
